Found that app, downloaded it, ran it, and me not really knowing what to
look for, stared blankly at the screen for a while.

Side note: grabbed the drivers for the Sonic Systems Comm card from
macdrivermuseum and installed that as well. Nothing exciting happened.
However when I went to run the diagnostic app included in the driver bundle
(inside ethernet I think it's called), under the window "Slot and SCSI
Devices" my hard drive is listed, along with my CD ROM Drive, but no
ethernet card.
