The computer has no battery. I threw it away because it was liking
and corroded. I suppose that is the problem. But wouldn't the Plus
look for a startup volume connected to the SCSI port when it does not
see a floppy in the drive? I've been looking without luck for a place to buy that type of battery.
The Plus doesn't use the Startup Disk setting. It first checks the floppy drive(s) then it searches the SCSI drive chain, starting with ID 0 on up to ID 6.
