Later Macs _can_ read and write 400Kb/800Kb discs. The ability disappeared with Mac OS X, and no USB floppy drives can read or write them. ISTR some issues with creating bootable discs from somewhere around Mac OS 8 or 9 - no doubt someone will remind us.


I use a Duo 2300 running 8.x to create the discs with no problems.
