Perhaps not finished but it's a good start. Those LED's are quite the same as 
the LED's molded into an Aromat or Omron solid state relay. They provide the 
optical isolation that is required and can control a tenth of an amp at 120 
volts AC.

I'm awaiting a report that Andrew has controlled a lamp you can read by. Or 
perhaps one that can convert a string of ASCII text into Morse code - the 
original serial data.
