Since this is my first Mac, there things in it I don't know if they're original parts or not. So I ask:
* is there an internal fan on the original Mac Plus? Mine has one, but it's power cord is disconnected;
* does the power supply have any Apple trademarks printed in it? Mine has mentions to a company called "Skynet Electronic", mande in "Taiwan Republic Of China". I suppose this power supply is an alternative one, substituted to be able to power the HD. You can also read "115V at 1A / 230V at 0.5A" in it, so it's probably not from Apple, which is always 115VAC as far as I can tell.
* finally: I noticed that the case cover has some internal "signatures" marked in high in the plastic. Do all Mac Pluses have these signatures? Unfortunately my camera was not able to capture these details.
You'll notice that the ribbon cable was unribboned so that it could be soldered directly to the computer board, just behind the 25-pin SCSI connector.
If anyone needs more details, please tell me so that I can open the case completely and take better quality photos.
I hope this helps you all to install your own Mac Plus internal hard drive. I bought this computer as it is now, but I could notice it was a very carefully work done in it.
