Thanks for the info, IAN. Would it have anything to do with the jumpers on the 2GB? I notice that the 80 MB has a jumper for Parity Enable/Disable, but the 2 GB doesn't have that setting. Is it possible the Mac is trying to get information about the drive via SCSI, and the drive can't send it?
