I say re-seat the ram first, but check those jumpers! Best performance can only be guaranteed by correct jumper settings. Maybe you should check yours also.

Thanks, but since the jumpers have had no effect, and the 80 MB works just fine, I don't think it's the jumpers or the seating. It's entirely possible that the PowerComputing tower screwed the drive's drivers somehow.

So, I have an external enclosure, and every time the 2 GB is in it, connected to the SCSI port, the SE will not boot. It just gives me a flashing question mark. Terminated or un, and it's the only device hooked up the computer. SCSI ID 2 or 3, same problem.

I tried the power on after booting, and run the patched HD SC setup, but that just had it spinning its clock for 5 minutes. Is that right?
