I was using an Apple CD-ROM drive, maybe a 800E (something like that) and a burned CD with a system folder. Does the CD need to be burned in a certain way to get it to be bootable?
Yes. In Toast, you have to have the "bootable" option turned on. I can't figure out how to make a CD in Mac OS X that would be bootable to a classic environment. Sucks that I can't make a bootable CD for my SE, since I have no System 6 CDs.
Any advice on this would be very welcome. -Lavode ------- "Objects in the rear-view mirror may appear closer than they are." -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
