Hopefully the SE/30 will boot from the CD-ROM drive. Will have to hold down command-option-shift-delete. Don't be surprised if it doesn't boot from the CD. Oh, btw, it may not be the drive, but might be bad capacitors. Especially since the SE/30 is from early 1989 and predates the IIci by a few months. My SE/30 keeps trying to reboot once it warms up. My Plus, however, works fine, but needs a new PRAM battery (as does the SE/30), before it'll be fully useable. Keeps resetting to 8/27/1956 and 8:40 pm... >I still own the only Mac I ever bought new.
