Hi list,

I have a laserWriter IIg on my home (ethernet) network. I print to it on everything from Classic Macs under OS 6, to my G4 powerbook under OS 10.3.9.

At the same time, my sons (hardcore gamers) can also print using Pentium 4 PC's and Windows 2000. You just need to load the appletalk protocol. This is a little confusing because although it is a network printer, Mr Gates wants to treat it as a local printer.

Happily, I know nothing about XP :-)

Re ONLY APPLE... This is not exactly so. The LaserWriter II g will work with a windows computer OR a Macintosh but not both at the same time.
