That would make sense. There is a distinct echo in Mac keyboards that you don't hear in an Apple II, II+, or IIe. Not as familiar with the IIe Platinum so I can't comment on it. The feel of Mac and Apple II is similar, but not congruent.
If I had more time I'd see what the differences in these are. I've got to admit, the echo in the Mac keyboards is awesome.
