In theory, yes. In practice, it doesn't work, because you have to enable indirect rendering also for the check for tfp. But that's not possible at the moment, because the corresponding functions don't have a parameter for that. Only way to set it atm is via env-var LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT.
