By the way, I hosted it on my own machine at home for a few weeks when it first came up and it seems extremely fast then, but this is probably not something I can judge fairly. Home connections like this have low outgoing bandwidth compared to incoming bandwidth, but I doubt this is any kind of issue, the server should consume very little network bandwidth.
