We tested mogo on several Linux clusters, and if MPI is available everything is fine. If you want the code, I can send you a .tar.gz and a README on how to make it run. Real time discussion with gmail-talk or something like that is a good tool also.
My humble opinion on the relevance of supercomputers in computer Go is that supercomputers might matter for 19x19, but no so much as there are strong limitations which are the same for a quad-core and a supercomputer; and in 9x9 the difference is big in self-play, but not so big in games against humans. If you choose 9x9 we can use mogoTW instead of MoGo. But you might use Fuego or ManyFaces as well :-) Or we can run each bot once if you have time for it :-) Best regards, Olivier
