This has been the case every time I played SlugGo at the Cotsen open. The person and I play on the board, I transfer moves into and from the computer. Computer looses (or uses) the transcription time.
For this challenge, because it is not at a major human tournament, and the challenger clearly is comfortable with computers, They might be gracious enough to play directly against the computer, taking out the extra person and the chance of transcription mistakes.
