These settings are close to ideal for a bot to play
at its best. Normally they play much faster to play
more rounds in a tournament or make more experiments
in a test, but all programs benefit a lot from such a
huge time. Also Fisher timing is almost ideal for
a bot, 40 seconds + the part of the 80 min is a lot
of time. The reason bots do not support this is
because "tradition" makes us think "that's how tings
are in go" and everybody does what others do, but
Fisher is a lot easier.
Also, KGS, IGS, and CGoS do not support Fischer time. Maybe there are
Asian servers that do, I don't read their languages so I can't easily
find out.
It is true that bots can play fast and that makes
humans uneasy. As a human, I know what it is when
at some point the game becomes complicated and you
need to "stop and think", then you lose on time. But
don't let that fool you, Zen with over a minute per
move will be a hell of an opponent.
Zen's recent performance on KGS suggests that it is stronger at blitz
than at slower games.

I hope to watch the games and good luck.
Jacques.
