As Daleeh said check your computer for spyware using
Lavasofts Adware first as you would be surprised at the
effect this can have on a systems speed performance.
Also it might be good to have and active spyware scanner
operating even when your surfing the web a good version of this
would be spybot. You have to purchase it in order to scan and clean
your machine but the trial version lets you run the active scanner
indefinately
i think! Another possibility is that you have a downloader virus on
your machine
scan the machine with your antivirus prog use AVG if you dont have one
its free!!
