Please notice that your Vaio’s volume should be high or adequately adjusted to the corresponding volume desired, because the amplifier will magnify the pulse, and hence will add the noise, while if you give it a high enough volume it will magnify the sound given. Just like when you turn your TV's volume to MAX while the DVD is as low as barely heard, you will get noise. I recommend putting the Vaio’s volume high, and adjusting the amplifier as required.
