Did you try the sticks (RAM) in other slots? A friend of mine did that
once, he thought that slot zero was closest to the CPU... When the
computer wouldn't boot and he pulled all his hair out turned purple,
he called me, I looked at it and thought the same thing, must be a bad
board, or CPU right? About a week later he calls me laughing his ass
off and explains to me that slot zero was actually the second slot
from CPU... Moral of the story, try one stick in each slot one at a
time and see if you get full on POST...
