You can use Firefox to update windows: when you go to the Windows update
page use the IE tab option on that page.  For me, at least, Windows Update
will work with Firefox if I use the IE tab option there. I assume that that
would work with PC Pitstop's Driver Update Program too. I don't use it, so I
can't try it.
