I tried uninstalling / reinstalling Mozilla FF and upon reinstall, I disabled AVAST and Windows Defender. It was OK for one or two days and then starting periodic crashing again. Windows Explorer also crashes periodically. Is this something endemic to Vista or 64 bit systems?
