If the Epson is an "all-in-one" (printer, scanner, fax) and has memory
card slots, it should work properly once you install the drivers.
Unfortunately, one big problem with all-in-one devices is you have to
be extremely careful to follow the installation instructions exactly.
Did you run the instllation disk before you plugged the printer in the
the USB port? If not, unplug the printer, reboot, then run the
install CD. It should prompt you when to connect the printer. If
that does not work, then you may have make sure you have uninstalled
any Epson software already installed and try again. Also, always
reboot between each uninstall or install to make sure the software has
really been removed or installed.
If the memory slots are not showing up, maybe the previous printer
software installed specific USB drivers for its card slots and that's
creating problem. So, you also need to uninstall any Lexmark software
before trying to get the Epson working.

Good luck,
Dale
