Generally when a Intel chip sends the signal for a system to shut down
it means that the fan/heatsink is not doing it's job.

First try running the computer without the battery but plugged in, see
if the laptop still gets as hot.

If so I would say that you need to do some dirty work and take the
laptop apart.  Clean out all the dust, and reattach the heatsink to
the CPU with some new thermal grease.
