Whenever you receive a specific error code (like - error #0123456), thats
the first and most important thing to write in your post. While reading your
first post, i got the impression that you receive no error code - only the
message "Loading PBR for descriptor 2... done". This is a common message
with disk errors (on Dell - three partitions), but can vary at descriptor
0,1,2,3,4... .
You could try this, however people had different results by doing this...
- Ctrl+F11 - Dell restore utility to (re)create the Win. partition
- HD diagnostic tests. Press F12 at boot if it will offer you a hard disk
diagnostic tool
- FixMbr and Fixboot commands
