Don't mention it, i'm happy you solved the issue. About your second question... There are many ways to transfer files from one pc to another.
-If you have both computers on the same LAN, then just map the drive in question and you will see it like its on the same computer (to map a drive, open win explorer, select "map network drive" on the top menu line - or use the command line util. Select a drive leter like Z: and browse the drive you want to map, click OK and here it is (select reconnect drive at logon-reboot) so it stays maped, otherwise it will only stay connected for the current session. This (map n.drv) is the best way, because you are able to transfer files every time you use your computer (both comps have to be running naturaly) , and transferring files is as simple as dragging or copy-paste ing. -If you would like to transfer files without a permanent connection, i suggest you use a USB key. You can buy a cheap usb drive with 2,4,8or16or... Gb... . and its much faster than what you mentioned - a CD. And its so small, you can use it as a key chain or put it in your purse and carry it around wherever you go, so you always have your favorite music, your email contacts, tasks and memos... with you. (hihi) -You can also use a crossover cable to directly connect two computers - and transfer files. -You can also upload the files to a free online storage, then login at the second PC and download the files (or access the files from any location). -Or, if you are using wireless you can make a WLAN (wireless lan) at home and connect two, thee... PC's, then map a network drive. -In extreme emergencies you can use your email to send some larger files, but please, dont do this for movies, music..., and dont make it a habit. Please don't ask me to explain this, this is simply bad practice - bandwidth, cost, isp-prices..., its just so. -If the secong PC is no longer in regular daily use, take the HD out and connect it to the newer computer, this way you will have both old data and new data on the same computer. (just check the jumpers, if the disk is same age as my grandma, then make the second drive-slave and original-master(windows). But probably "cable select").
