Hello all, I have this problem, My friend put a BIOS password to access the bios setup on an HP 6530b, now he doesnt want to lose the warranty by unscrewing and open the device...and he is unable to locate the battery so he can reset settings. but still can unscrew the keyboard if it helps. Please ppl, anyone has a clue on how to solve this problem , please advice.. ah, i forgot to mention why he needs to access the BIOS... he needs to encrypt the harddrive so he keeps his data safe, and as far as he said, the locking software needs to encrypt the drive according to the BIOS password.
