It was not your original question... It was when you were not getting it even though distinct instructions had been given (although, to be honest, the instructions were not the tutorial type of 'click' this menu, click that button, do this, when that is showing). Unfortunately us techie types sometimes forget that there are some people out there who can barely turn a computer on but seem to think that they can fix anything on it by asking someone else what the problem is even though they would not understand the answer nor be able to follow anything but the exact step by step instructions (of this and that type) because they have not interested themselves in at least learning the basics such as what makes up a personal computer (ie: a motherboard which has the components, cards, cpu and etc on it; the adapters to drive the peripherals (to communicate to/from for example a printer, a mouse, keyboard, display monitor abd etc)), how do you see what the operating system has for it's hardware configuration, and so on.
