Ditto, to everything everybody said, but here are a couple of tools that might help you. If you do not have a name-brand computer and/or are looking for drivers for specific things like your hard drive, modem, NIC, etc. you can go to these sites and run these free programs in about a minute and they will tell you more information about your computer and the hardware therein so you will have an easier time finding drivers because you will know more about what you are looking for. The sites are:
