It sounds more like a graphics card issue. Is your graphics card HD compatable? Does it have a setting for a HD LCD on it in the properties? For a LCD of that size tyou may need to update the drivers. Check out the cards specs on their website and if they have any known issues with HD LCD. Just a few points to look at I am not sure if its any help but those are some ideas.
