Limited connectivity typically, but not always, means it is not able to
reach the DHCP server.

I am assuming that it is on wireless.

If you can, connect ethernet after disabling wireless and see if at least
ethernet works. That will give you an idea if everything other than wireless
is working okay. If ethernet is also not working (with wireless disabled)
you might have to re-install windows 7 networking.

If ethernet is working, check all the wireless settings - SSID, Encryption
type, key/passphrase, and Authentication type (this is something a lot of
people miss).

If it doesn't work even after all wireless settings are verified, remove the
adapter in Device Manager and uninstall and re-install the Broadcomm driver
if possible. Then Scan for Hardware Changes so that it gets automatically
detected and asks to install driver. Point it to the location of driver
rather than letting it use the copy already installed and available with
Windows. Reconfigure all the wireless settings.

All the best.
