What kind of camera?
Konica-Minolta cameras. I have both their 7D and their 5D.
Konica-Minolta decided to cease camera production about a year ago.
After all those many years of making really great cameras, both film
and then a couple of digital SLRs, the company determined that they
could not effectively compete with the high dollar marketing
capabilities of Canon and Nikon in the professional level digital SLR
field. K-M continues to manufacture other types of digital imaging
devices, especially in the medical field.
Konica-Minolta had no interest in manufacturing the typical consumer
level, point and shoot type cameras which are the bread and butter of
the digital camera industry, including Canon and Nikon.
Minolta and Konica had decent SLR cameras, but there was nothing special
about them to make them stand out. Same for their digital cameras. Not
impressive--but OK. So they do business machines. Both were choices when
I started in photography years ago, but I went with Canon, Nikon and
three Pentax cameras, and a bunch of lenses.

Or was your post a comment on the loss of respect for the United States.
Too bad some people confuse the bad behavior of governments with the
people of a country. Too bad that some people confuse the bad behavior
of a few companies with the reputation of all companies in a country.
I've found that in my travels, that isn't usually the case. Most people
can tell the difference between a few crooks and thugs and the entire
population, and are quite sympathetic for those of us who are directly
affected, especially in countries that have recently suffered under
fascist regimes. In Croatia I was thrilled to find that their big
holiday celebration is for Anti-Fascism Day, June 22nd. We could use
that here, for more than just one day.
