That's the thing. You can plug the camera directly in to the computer, & the
Kodak Easyshare software can see the camera, but Windows Explorer can't. I
don't care for the Eayshare software, which is why I just want to transfer the
files in Explorer.

Can you plug the camera directly into the computer to see if it works?
And don't forget to restart the computer -- often works wonders.
