Hey, Don't knock it! I've spent years and hundreds of hours on our
county ReCenter treadmill listening to mysteries, suspense, police
procedurals, etc. Been through all of Michael Connelly, John Grisham,
David Baldacci, Donald Westlake, Carl Hiaasen and many more.
In fact, the best device I've found is the 2nd generation iPod Shuffle.
Never switch to shuffle mode and it makes a great sequential player from
ripped CD books from the library. Clips to the collar of my workout shirt.
