Can I get some feedback on which of these 2 people would recommend?
I'm adding Videographer to my skill-sets (like I needed another one!). tia.

Final Cut beats Premiere hands down. Its faster, has excellent tools and plugins, is more intuitive [if you can ever call such a complicated program intuitive]. I think the Premiere doesn't have a Mac version. Avid Cinema does.

I've used all of those, but when I bought the software myself, I bought Final Cut Express. It does everything I need, including some high-end features and is a solid program. If you want to try the Avid software, there's a free demo version, but nothing is as good on the Mac as Final Cut, either version. For Windows consider Avid XPress. I never liked Premiere from the very first version to the last for the Mac, and I don't like the Windows version either.

Try them all and make your choice. I think there are trial versions. You can look at Final Cut at an Apple Store.
