I need to be able to burn DVD's from the program (like iDVD does). Does FCE not have this feature? & if not, can iDVD be used with FCE files? tia.
When you finish your movie, save it as DV, or it can be a compressed .mov. I use Roxio Toast to burn DVDs. It can do video DVDs, including menus and scene selection--if you've added markers in the original. In the sidebar, choose Video --> DVD Video, and select Options at bottom for setup choices. Drag and drop the video onto the window and continue from there. Use any picture or photo for a background in the menu. You may have to read the help files for this, or ask the list.
