If you are a rank beginner the hourly rate is not going to be that great. A List Apart recently published a survey of web designers and 17% reported they earned under $10K/year. The largest segment, 23%, earned $40K to $60K. $60K divides out to $30/hour. >I will not be doing the technical side of >designing the website, just content for it. The site itself is being >designed by another party, on an existing network format or whatever the >correct term would be. Is there a specific term or category for this sort >of work? "Web designer" doesn't seem the correct category, so am guessing >I can't go by what web designers get, or can I? If your job has nothing to do with the coding of the web site you will be working as a researcher or writer. You may want to check with WIW (Washington Independent Writers) about typical rates. ************************************************************************ * ==> QUICK LIST-COMMAND REFERENCE - Put the following commands in <== * ==> the body of an email & send 'em to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <== * Join the list: SUBSCRIBE COMPUTERGUYS-L Your Name * Too much mail?
