windows versions 1-3, 95(4), 98(5), ME(6), xp(7) and vista(8).  This isn't
counting the NT line which coincides with the release of NT 4 with
win95(4).  I suppose if you count 95, 98 and ME as all the same OS's which
they weren't you might reach 7.  This doesn't count 98se either.  Either way
I think this shows MS and the NYT's can't count.
