So you are saying OS X is built on a horrible idea?

As far as opinions on W7, I'll stick with those who have actually used it
instead of those who like to form their opinions before they've seen hide or
hair.  I haven't personally read any of MS's paid shills, have you got that
list handy so we can see what they are saying?
