Yes there are others out there. I did a google search and came up with "Actiontec Dual PC Modem." It has a 56Kbps V.92 Modem with 2 Ethernet ports. After I found one I stopped looking, so there may be more or better ones out there.

P.S. - there are tons of routers with DSL Modems.

That looks like a smart solution to me. It doesn't even have to be an Airport. Other brands, if they have an Ethernet connection, will do the job.

I would not play around with USB. Ethernet is a more standard and flexible way to do this. With Ethernet you will even be able to add another computer without any trouble.
