As someone else suggested, go to Dell's Small and Medium Business website. Depending on your price range, there's a bunch of options. Since the laptop's are for your teen and tween, you might want to consider getting a warranty. Onsite is much better than having to mail the thing in - especially if (when?) they revert your hard drive back to the way it was delivered (and wipe all your data/installed programs for free). 3 years might seem long, but in some cases, you can get a slightly better price. It's really difficult to say since each Dell laptop has about 15 different ways you can configure and price them out.

My teen (soon to leave for college) and my tween want Dell Inspiron laptop computers (the ones that come in all the "cool" colors -- thank you Dell TV advertising blitz!). Problem is, Dell only sells those with Microsoft Vista (soon to be abandoned by Microsoft in favor of Windows 7). ************************************************************************* ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *************************************************************************
