I know there should have been a comma there. The big companies such as Dlink and Linksys make outside mountable high dbi antennas for transmitting wireless signals.

Comma belonged between Yagi (which is a beam antenna) and big.

An example of a Yagi antenna is the ones I used to mount on the pole next to my house which used a motor to direct it to get me my best reception from multiple points. Used to look like a big Y. (Yagi's can be both reception and trasmital)

Yagi is a type of antenna, not a company. A yagi is often called
"beam" antenna, though in actuality, any type of unidirectional
antenna is a "beam" antenna in that it radiates or receives in one
direction better than in any other.
