I can't and won't quarrel with "Take it to someone." But telling someone 
to go to Staples or any big box store is not something you do. Even big 
box stores, like Micro Center, that specialize only in computers are very 
unlikely to treat the customer well.

I just Googled "arlington va computer repair" and got a bunch of hits 
that look like they are small businesses. 

I also note that yelp.com has an "IT Services & Computer Repair" category 
that has several reviews.

The guy I used to recommend (AllNet) looks to have closed. Too bad, he 
was good and treated customers very fairly. Anybody know if he just moved?
