Yes, it creates all kinds of chaos with lots of apps. I find it a
tremendous convenience. I mean, who the heck really wants to have to
manually open a file manager window, navigate to the drive you just
inserted, then dig around for what you want?

I'm glad to see we really don't *have* to disable autorun. Apparently
this advice is being given as some sort of workaround to avoid
actually installing the fix. I just can't imagine Grandma is going to
be in better shape digging around and double clicking files on the
drive.
