Should add that while tv may not be important to you or anyone here personally, this policy affects ALL Americans, including those without computers, who are invalids and can't get out or do much else, children, those who need to keep up on some local news issues, those whose lives are so stressful or difficult they just need some R & R entertainment (who can't afford movies, plays, TIVO, DVD recorders, fancy entertainment centers, etc.) If we are going to start questioning the reasons people watch tv then we should start questioning all other habits and choices of people, starting with computers, internet, cars and living on credit.
