It was only the choice of words that was unfortunate--what he's saying there
is almost indisputably accurate. Is there anything in that statement that
you find to be factually incorrect?

No, sounds to me like he was stating facts. The tax code -is- for wealth
redistribution. That's what progressive taxation is all about. Been around
since Keynes, with roots much further back than that.
