You're correct. Most in the US hate the term "socialism". Even though
most don't have a clue as to what it really is. The US is already
mostly a socialist society. Try living without your police force, fire
fighters, public hospitals, sewer systems, irrigation, etc. The list
just goes on and on.
Regulation is in itself socialization. And it's just what we needed
to keep us out of the mess we're in. Thank you Mr. Bush.
