Price does not vary that much and does not seem to relate to quaity. (But 
I have not tried the really expensive boxes.)

The RCA branded boxes I got were the least expensive and I think they 
work the best. 

Easy to use controls. 
Remote could be programmed to control on/off and volume on the TV. 
Nice on screen program info. 
I think reception was better (but that is hard to judge). 
On-screen signal strength meter made positioning the antenna easier.
Some of the boxes are slow to change stations. RCA was better at this.
