I got them online. Local stores did not have much to choose from and whenever I found something worth buying it was out of stock. Online prices were better too. The one I like is the RCA DTA800. With revision digits tacked on the model I have is a DTA800B1. One feature I failed to mention is composite video out. This gives a much better signal than boxes that are only RF in and RF out. Composite video bypasses your old set's tuner and avoids the limits inherent in an RF signal. The RCA box also supports a "smart antenna." This is a new type of antenna that electronically "rotates" for best signal on each station. This is done using signal strength info set to the antenna by the RCA box. I do not have one, but reviews I read were good. ************************************************************************* ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *************************************************************************
