Very steep learning curve. Probably rivaled only by Avid. But let's not confuse your decision to go with a difficult app - one that virtually demands training - to then praise the trainers needed at whatever cost. You guys could just as easily chosen an NLE that has virtually no learning curve. There are many, and only FCP requires a proprietary OS.
