That is a perfectly sensible and correct answer. No better and no worse than saying that the files are in a particular directory.

Seeing how most people manage files in directories I think it is far better to have them "in Picassa."

You are just stuck in the over-complicated past.


Isn't the exact location of the photos designated [by the user] in Preferences? Or, on a Mac, the photos would automatically be stored in the Pictures folder. On a PC it might default to My Documents. A good backup program would be set to look for changes, additions, deletions anyway.
